Synopsis

* Stone Walls Do Not Make A Prison! * The Strange Case Of Professor Radium! * The Superstition Murders! * The Cross-Country Crimes! 1st Appearance "PROFESSOR RADIUM" (Henry Ross) STORY 1: Big Mike Russo Appearance STORY 2: Professor Henry Ross develops a radium serum for reviving the dead, and tests it on dogs. It works. Nobody believes him. To prove his point, he kills himself, leaving instructions for his assistant to use the formula on him. It works, but he becomes radioactive, and accidentally kills his assistant, then his fiancee. Ross tries to cure himself with repeated doses of Volitell, stolen from local hospitals, and devises a heavy, lead-lined protective suit, but goes insane, and kills some people on purpose, before Batman and Robin intervene. The Dynamic Duo have coated themselves in thin layers of transparent rubber, and at the end of their fight, at the shipyard, Professor Radium falls to his death in the river below. STORY 3: "Johnny Glim" Appearance STORY 4: Batman and Robin are invited to Washington D.C. where are honored by the President and the director of the FBI, who is wounded by the Joker in an attempt on Batman's life.
