Synopsis

* The Upside Down Crimes * Damsel In Distress * Borrowed Butler * Pelt Plunderers * Classic JOKER Black Cover * Story One "The Upside Down Crimes" features several references to famous figures from the film industry like Edward G. Robinson, Shirley Temple, Ginger Rogers, Katharine Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Charlie Chaplin and the comedic duo Laurel and Hardy. 1* Joker comes up with a new idea to commit crimes and he starts an spree of upside down crimes across Gotham City. Batman and Robin are summoned by the police department to help tackle the Joker and they deduce the Joker's plans. However, Joker manages to steal the Batplane from the dynamic duo and almost defeats Batman on an upside-down battle. With help from Robin, Batman breaks free and they almost capture the clown prince of crime 2* Dick Grayson is attracted to his schoolmate Marjory Davenport and he asks her on a date. When the day comes, Dick learns that she is not available, but her father gives Dick a secret message in form of a code, informing Dick that he was being blackmailed by some thugs who had kidnapped Marjory. Dick contacts Bruce and informs him of the situation and the dynamic duo gets into action. 3* Alfred is asked to serve as butler for the wealthy neighbor of Bruce Wayne and during his tenure as her servant, Alfred witness a crime taking place in the lady's mansion. Using his detective skills and a bit of luck, Alfred finds the responsible and he is allowed to return to Wayne Manor earlier than expected 4* Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson are on vacation in Canada, but soon they have to act as Batman and Robin to stop a gang of pelt plunderers. The dynamic duo work along with the Canadian Mounted Police and together, they capture the entire gang.
