Captive Of The Evil Eye! Taking up a job as an insurance adjuster in a town in northern Washington, Hal Jordan is sent to check and see if there are any bogus insurance claims due to a meteor crashing in an area of lumber stocks that are insured by the company. Checking things out as Green Lantern, Hal finds a giant named Thotan who has come from the planet Nabgor to steal Earth's oxygen for his home planet. Using his power ring to grow to the same size as Thotan, Hal tries to battle the creature hand-to-hand and easily defeats his foe. Carrying his opponent back to the planet Nabgor, Hal warns any of the people there to never attack the Earth again.
