Synopsis

Superheavy, Part Three Superheavy Part 3 First Appearance of Mr. Bloom. Clark Kent comes to gotham to talk to Alfred about the Bruce Wayne lurking about in the narrows. Jim Gordan goes to check in on Bruce Wayne to see if he can help give advice about being Batman but Bruce declines and explains how he is happy how things are now. Bruce explains he is not the Bruce Wayne Jim once knew. Bruce has no memories of his past. Meanwhile a new villain is lurking about, Mr. Bloom. Mr. Bloom is giving "seeds" to criminals to give them super abilities. Mr. Bloom has a meeting with the Penguin which ends up with Penguin betraying Mr. Bloom and shooting him but Mr. Bloom grows back and large like a weed and stabs Penguin and his goons. Rise Of Mr. Bloom The latest chapter of Batman shifts focus away from Jim Gordon somewhat and onto Bruce Wayne, now living a quiet, humble life without a trace of spandex. There's a lot to like in this issue as Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo reveal more about Bruce's miraculous return and flesh out new villain Mr. Bloom. Unfortunately, Gordon himself is somewhat diminished as a result.
