Contains 2 Stories Book Two &Amp; The Dark Knight Universe Presents: Wonder Woman Synopsis for Book Two Quar (First appearance) A beaten and bloody Carrie Kelley is led into a police car. When prompted, she claims that Bruce Wayne is dead. Its been 27 days since Carrie Kelley was put in jail. She has been named as a Jane Doe, she hasn't said a single word since. For 26 days Commissioner Ellen Yindel questions her and gets similar results, but on the 27, Kelley finally tells her what happened. At first what seemed to be a realistic flashback, she goes on to say a sick joke, claiming that once Bruce Wayne had died, she ate the corpse. At Ray Palmer's lab, Lara and Baal are still attempting to return Kandor to its original size. During this time Lara is called by her mother, Wonder Woman. When Palmer makes a reference to God, Baal expresses disapproval. Back in Gotham, Kelley is being transported to prison. Kelley is tracking the transport's movements while inside by counting the seconds and turns. When Kelley has the transport in a strategic position (meaning that she had planned her capture all the way down to where the transport will be) she whistles a tune which triggers a missile to hit the truck. Kelley escapes the truck and gets into the the tank-like Batmobile. Yindel orders the drawbridge raised, but the Batmobile uses its afterburners to jump across the river and get to the other side. Next we see Ray Palmer in the desert, ready to enlarge the Kandorians. After a blinding white flash, Palmer's technology ends up working in enlarging the Kryptonians to full size, but that wasn't the thing that shocked him. Ray sees hundreds of Kryptonians part of a cult lead by a man named Quar. Quar lead a church the Kandorians had called mad. Refusing to join him, Quar had his people inadvertedly restored to full size by Ray Palmer. After killing Ray, Quar grabs the bottle city of Kandor with all its remaining residents, and destroys it with his laser vision. Synopsis for "The Dark Knight Universe Presents: Wonder Woman" Late for a sparring session with her mother, Lara maintains a defiant attitude. Lara sees herself above her mother as she is Kryptonian and invulnerable to damage. Deciding to liven up the sparring, Wonder Woman throws Lara a sword, a sword Lara lets fall to the ground while looking at the sword and her mother at with disdain. They fight, Lara dodging the attacks with ease as Wonder Woman begins to sweat. Lara then allows a strike to her chest, which breaks the sword and sends it to shards. Lara claims she isn't like her mother, but that she is Kryptonian. She rejects her Amazonian heritage and flies off into the sky.
