Xenogenesis Day Of The Demons Part 2: Tyranny And Mutation In the realm of the Shadow Cloak, Devil-Slayer explains his situation and his mission to end the Xenogenesis to Valkyrie and the Hulk. Agreeing to help Devil-Slayer transports them to Dr. Strange's Sanctum where they begin to plan. As the cult led by Vera Gemini summon their master Belathauzer, Dr. Strange surmises that the cult stole the Eye of Agamotto to speed up the Xenogenesis process, and calls for the other members of the Defenders for assistance. Nighthawk and Hellcat are trying out a new testing arena when things go awry, however, they are rescued by the timely arrival of the Hulk who has come to collect them at Dr. Strange's behest. While in Russia, scientists researching Red Guardian's new form realize that her powers are beyond their own control. While Dr. Strange's attack on Xenogenesis on the astral plain fails, Devil-Slayer travels to Mexico to assault the cult physically and is confronted by the Agent of Fortune. Back at Strange's home, the other Defenders return to be informed by Dollar Bill that Dr. Strange is dead.
