Countdown To Catastrophe! With the atomic bomb which Gideon Mace had planted in Chicago ready to blow in the next few hours, Luke scours the city trying to locate it. Along the way, Luke is distracted by a deranged sniper name Charlie. Saves an old lady from a mugging, and another old woman from a fire before finally defeating Charlie before he can kill his ex-girlfriend. When Luke finally tracks down the bomb, he stops some children from playing around it and keeps it clear until the bomb squad arrives. After an inspection, the bomb squad realizes that the bomb is a dud, as the cobalt trigger in it is missing. When Luke considers his night, he realizes it wasn't a total loss considering all the good he managed to do for people that night.
