Synopsis
A Death In The Family
In this issue the X-men continue their assault on the Mutant Affairs Department attempting to erase the government's registration data. The X-Men upon their departure are ambushed by multiple Sentinels and are caught in an intense battle. This fight leads to the death of one of the X-Men and another being left behind. The X-Men argue about the decision to leave their fallen comrades behind. Henry Gyrich is let down by hearing the mutant registration order is being canceled. Cyclops visits Jubilee's home letting them know their daughter had been kidnapped. The X-Men locate and free Jubilee but Henry Gyrich escapes. Jubilee after being freed makes the difficult decision to attend the Xaiver Institute of Higher Learning.
