Spider-Man stops an industrial spy hired by Stane International from taking pictures of the Cordco Inc. experimental space rocket that will launch a satellite carrying Dr. Swann's ley line-mapping dye. Officer Goldman tells Mary Jane that Jonathon Caesar is suspected of attacking her director. Peter calls May, who tells him that Nathan's health is deteriorating. Peter and Mary Jane run into Flash & Felicia on the street, then continue to Madison Square Garden where Peter takes pictures of a Captain America charity demonstration. Peter takes Mary Jane backstage to meet Cap but he has already left. Shocker attempts to steal the charity money but at a concession stand, Spider-Man maneuvers him into standing in a puddle of popcorn cooking oil where the force of Shocker's vibro-blast slides him back into a wall, knocking him out. Elsewhere, as Mysterio prepares to steal a casino cash shipment. Dr. Octopus recruits him by pointing out the police are on their way. He doesn't reveal that he's the one that tipped the police off.
