Synopsis

Interlude! Freed from Gyrich's restrictive regulations, the Avengers are able to reorganize their roster. Even as Wonder Man is officially reinstated, the Falcon decides to resign and departs. As the remaining teammates relax before their official meeting, an unshaven man named Selbe, clad only in a jacket and a hospital gown, appears at the mansion door and collapses into the Wasp's arms. Terribly frightened, Selbe begs for help against people supposedly trying to kill him. However, when officials arrive claiming he has escaped from their Solomon Institute for the Criminally Insane, the heroes have no choice but to turn him over. The Avengers are about to resume their meeting when they realize that the Wasp is missing, having followed Selbe and his warders back to the Institute.
