When he mimics any fighting style he looses his short and long term memory. This is the first full appearance of Task Master and the conclusion of a three-part story. He squares off with Ant-man and Yellowjacket with a series of expertly executed moves. This culminates in their imprisonment whereby the cannot escape with they’re shrinking abilities. Luckily the Avengers are contacted by the ants and rescue Ant-man and Yellowjacket. Captain America and Ironman attempt to capture Task Master, but he resists because he can predict their moves. Running into Jocasta while trying to flee the Avengers Task Master is unable to defeat her because he has never encountered her before. Finally, he evades capture by blinding the heroes in the story with a magnesium flare.
