Family Responsibility Ikaris of the Eternals pays a visit to the Avengers and demands to have Sersi brought to him. The Avengers, irritated by his condescending tone, refuse, but Sersi invites them all into the mansion before a battle erupts. Ikaris explains that Sersi is going mad because of her participation in the Brethren Uni-Mind. Sersi refuses to be taken back to Olympia and cleansed. Ikaris permanently bonds Sersi and Black Knight together, as the Black Knight reluctantly takes the role of Sersi's Gann Josin, or soulmate. Despite becoming Sersi's soulmate, the Black Knight makes a serious advance on Crystal.
