Her suspicions that Paul may be a hit-man out to assassinate the Baron prove unfounded when Denning instead is revealed as the adventurer-for-hire, Paladin, and his quarry as the ersatz mystic criminal Baron Brimstone. Together, Paladin and the Wasp foil Brimstone's scheme to loot the resort casino's vault.
