Synopsis
The Absorbing Man Is Out For Blood!
The Absorbing Man accepts to kill the Hulk as requested by the triumvirate called {"THEY" (Who Wield Power)}. Meanwhile, Bruce tries to find a job without succeeding. But April Sommers finds him a job in a skyscraper's construction. Smiling, Bruce goes to his first day of work, followed very closely by Crusher Creel, AKA the Absorbing Man. When Bruce arrives at the construction, the villain attacks him lending to Hulk's appearance. The powerhouses start fighting inside the unborn building and Creel starts absorbing the Hulk's strength. Furious, the green giant hits the floor collapsing the building. During the fall, Crusher accidentally touches a piece of glass turning into a crystal statue. The fall breaks him into a thousand pieces. Triumphant, the Hulk finds an alley and rests. "THEY" Who Wield Power watch the Hulk as he turns into Bruce Banner. Meanwhile, Betty Ross and Glenn Talbot decide to split. Jim Wilson travels to New York in search for Banner. And Doc Samson supervises the evolution of the unknown man found barely alive outside Gamma base.
