Synopsis
Captain America For President!
A newspaper erroneously announces that Cap is running for president.
Cap For President!
After rescuing a convention of the New Populist Party (N.P.P.), Captain America is asked to be the N.P.P.'s presidential candidate. Cap initially declines, and only promises to think about it in order to get away. The N.P.P. then releases a newspaper announcement proclaiming that Cap has agreed to run for them. Cap gets advice from his friends as to whether he should indeed run for president, and visits his old school to reminisce about things he was taught about America and liberty. At a press conference, Cap announces that he will not be running for president as he feels he could not focus on it due to his dedication to "the dream".
