Synopsis

Ashes To Ashes! With the evil Egyptian Princess Fan-Le-Tamen revived in the body of Suwan, the Yellow Claw now has a willing partner in his schemes of world conquest. Captain America and the Falcon attempt to break free and battle the Claw’s hulking servitors but are quickly subdued. The Claw has the unconscious heroes tied to opposite sides of a huge statue, with crossbows aimed to fire poisoned shafts into their hearts. The villains set the timer and depart. Meanwhile at the hospital, a delirious Nick Fury is trying to warn Val and Dugan about something when an agent of the Claw, disguised as a nurse attempts to murder the SHIELD director. Val stops the baddie, who kills himself with the poisoned ring he was going to use on Fury. Back at the museum, Cap and the Falcon manage to rock the statue so that it tips over just as the crossbows fire, taking them out of the missiles’ path. The heroes head home where Steve meets up with Sharon, and Sam informs them that Peggy is being cared for by Leila. Meeting with Peggy, she declares that she wants to fight alongside Cap, but the Avenger forbids it as too dangerous, still unable to tell her it is Sharon he now loves. At the hospital, Nick Fury awakens long enough to tell everyone that he had uncovered the Yellow Claw’s plan: to steal the SHIELD heli-carrier. The team heads out to stop the crime, unaware they are too late: the Claw has already taken over the massive airship to recover the robot duplicates of him and his allies and so uncover the identity of their sinister creator. Cap, the Falcon, and Dum Dum Dugan invade the heli-carrier using rocket packs but are overcome by poison gas. At that moment, the evil Suwan double-crosses the Yellow Claw, shooting him down and proceeding with the plan to conquer the world for herself. The Claw, vowing not to be defeated by her, administers the antidote to the heroes, who overpower Suwan’s forces. As the villainess tries to escape, she is seized by the Claw, who chants the spell that withdraws life from the revived Egyptian princess, so that she dies and crumbles into dust. The Yellow Claw then takes off in a scout ship vowing someday to return!
